History
Preferred Jet Center was founded in March of 2001 as an alternative to other fixed base operator's at congested airports surrounding Atlanta. Purchased out of bankruptcy, the existing operation was in much need of attentive guidance. Over the next years, focus was given to setting a foundation of exceptional customer service and safety, selectively positioning employees with experience to oversee its operation. The by-product of this initial focus was a quick growth in cliental, in reputation, and the turnaround of based customers in the once empty hangars and offices.
Today, as a private operation, Preferred's motivation is still the same... to engage new aviation customers in any way possible. As an active member in the community and the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, Preferred has been named consecutively as a Top 25 Small Business of the Year since 2004. This honorable achievement proved the significance of their growth in a short period of time and has set a benchmark for its future.
